I was deeply saddened to read of Jill's passing. Please accept the condolences of both Ann Scruggs, my sister and myself Deborah Scruggs. Jill was a wonderful friend from our vacation bible school days in Bull Shoals through our graduation from Flippin, AR in May 1969. I am sorry to hear about Jill. I knew her a short while in 1964-65. She came with her mother to be the first to welcome our family to her community. She always had a good heart and a helping hand.
I am so saddened to hear of Jill's passing. She was a wonderful person and we studied, traveled and toiled together during our years at Henderson. Neither those times nor Jill will ever be erased from my memory. Richard, may God's peace encircle you always.

Dear Richard, Amy, and Emily, thank you for sharing your precious Jill with me as she came to work with her wonderful attitude every day. She was a joy to work with, so willing to help anyone, an inspiration to anyone who met her, and everyone who knew her knew that she loved her family dearly. She has blessed my life, and our heavenly choir has gained a beautiful voice. My you have all the love and support you need each day.

Jill was such a vibrant presence in the life of all that she met. She will be so greatly missed. As I read her obituary, I was amazed by the words and how it was the essence of who Jill was. What a blessing to call her friend. Love to Richard and the girls. SHe will be so greatly missed.
