Biography
Jim Reese, 86, of Prairie Grove, AR passed away Friday, March 9, 2012 in Fayetteville. He was born January 19, 1926 in Rector, AR to Robert Lee Reese and Hinda (Bell) Reese. He was retired from Campbell Bell and Crescent Department Stores.
He was very active with the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club, First Christian Church of Fayetteville, and was a U. S. Air Corp veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, great grandchild, Zane Wyatt Reese and two sisters; Fran and Kay.
He is survived by his wife Bettye Reese, two sons; Don Reese and wife Dorothy of Kansas, OK, Richard Reese and wife Kim of Springdale, AR, one brother; Ronnie Reese, two sisters; Estelle Sharr, Robille Ward, four grandchildren; Matt Reese, Megan Reese, Heather Reese, Hailee Reese, and three great grandchildren; Caden, Zander, Cooper.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 12th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Moore’s Chapel.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 13th at First Christian Church in Fayetteville with Reverend Ryan Pfeiffer officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Grove Cemetery in Prairie Grove, AR.
