Joan Audrey Reynolds' Obituary
Joan Audrey Reynolds, age 91, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on September 13, 2025, at T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on August 15, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, to Harry Schatz and Mariam Holtzman Schatz. Joan worked as a secretary in the United States Army Reserve. She was very passionate about art, studying at the Design Institute of Art in Dallas. Joan loved to paint and using charcoal in her sketchbook.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joel Reynolds; her parents, three sisters and two brothers. Joan is survived by her two sons, Dale Reynolds and wife Janelle of Honey Grove, Texas, and Carl Reynolds and wife Kathy of Forney, Texas; daughter-in-law, Anita Reynolds; numerous grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Arrangements are made by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
