Aunt JoAnn was our smart, beautiful and very funny member of the family. My cousins and I would adore watching her cheer at basketball games, involved in so many activities at school and excel at studies. When we had family dinners, Jo Ann and her sisters entertained with stories from their childhood and there was so much laughter. What a happy reunion in Heaven
As her niece, which I was to never say, with her in high school and me in elementary (9 years difference in our ages), my sister and I would go to her house many afternoons. She would make the BEST fudge. We couldn’t wait for it to harden. She’d give us a spoon and we’d eat it by the spoonfuls. Loved my beautiful ‘Aunt Jo Ann’! Sandra Hargis
