Joanne Bragg's Obituary
Joanne Bragg, of Rogers, Arkansas, went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born in Turner, Arkansas to Lee and Janie Washburn on October 9th, 1933. In her 35+ year career, she started working in the insurance business, then began working in real estate, both as an office manager and sales agent. She later began working as a mortgage loan processor and continued that career path until she retired. Her passion for her work was only surpassed by her passion for her family. She loved fishing, dancing, music, but most of all, her children and grandchildren, whom she loved without measure. She lived a life full of love and laughter and was truly an angel on Earth, with a contagious laugh, a kind heart, and a pure spirit. She will be sorely missed by all who were so very blessed to love and be loved by her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Bragg, Jr, and two brothers, Bobby Washburn and Mickey Washburn. She is survived by three children, son, Karl May and wife, Michelle of Rogers, AR, daughter, Karen McFarland of Germantown, TN and daughter, Kathy Alderson and husband, Bill of Rogers, AR; grandchildren, Lindsey Rentas and husband, Sean, Sarah Posey and husband, Matt, Duncan and Alaina May, Jason and Liam Alderson, and Mallory and Emily McFarland. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:30pm, Friday, November 18, 2016 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel. Graveside service will follow immediately at Rogers Cemetery with Father Craig Gavin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Joanne Bragg to: the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the National Down Syndrome Society, or the National Kidney Foundation. CONDOLENCES Karen, Kathy, and Karl, My loving thoughts and prayers are with your family at this most difficult time and in the days ahead. May God bless you with a peace that surpasses all understanding and comfort you in a way that only He can. My deepest sympathy for the loss of a wonderful mom, grandmother, and beautiful lady.
