Joe Bailey's Obituary
Joe Bailey, 74, of Fayetteville, passed away November 25th. He was born on December 31, 1939, in Fayetteville, to parents Loy Bailey and Mildred Ragsdale Bailey.
He was a Sales Manager at Tyson’s until his retirement. He served in the Army National Guard during the Little Rock Desegregation Crisis. He was a licensed funeral director and former employee of Nelson’s Funeral Home. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Fayetteville and was the founder and retired president of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janell Bailey.
He is survived by sons Jeff Bailey and his wife Mechelle, and Scott Bailey and his wife Laura all of Fayetteville; one brother, Ken Bailey of Farmington, and three grandchildren, Ally, Austin, and Madysen Bailey.
Visitation will be held at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home on Friday, November 28th from 5-7 with funeral service to be held on Saturday, November 29th at First Baptist Church in Fayetteville at 1:00p.m. with burial to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens
