One of my favorite memories from growing up in Eureka Springs was as a Boy Scout when Joe was our scout leader. His ability to teach and make fun activities even more enjoyable was awesome. To this day, I still use his recipes for campfire cooking-especially the hot dogs wrapped in Bisquick.

We are also very sad to hear that Joe had passed. Joe has been a close friend for many, many years. Joe was my Little League coach, my basketball coach and my frog "giggin" coach. This is just a tiny bit of time that he gave not only to me but to a lot of people. We are very grateful and blessed to know a man like him.
