Joe used to use his dad's old panel truck to ride around town in, that was always a lot of fun. We were in choir and chores together, we would sing at the top of our lungs from various musicals or the latest Kingston Trio hit. The Hornsby's had an upright piano in the living room at 900 N Vandeventer Ave in Fayetteville, and I can still hear Joe pounding out "rocked in the cradle of the deep" as we sang along; great memories from long ago. Joe was one of my very best close friends from our highschool days and my prayer is that I will see him again and who knows, maybe we'll sing together again!
