Joe Sutherlan's Obituary
Joe Sutherlan of Springdale, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born July 28, 1936 in Fallsville, AR to Arthur and Helen (Watson) Sutherlan
He was owner and operator of Joe’s Market since 1965 in Springdale, a member of Abundant Life Pentecostal Church of God in Springdale, and a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Sutherlan and one brother Charles Sutherlan.
He is survived by his son, Rick Sutherlan and wife Donna of Springdale; his daughters, Renee McCown and Rachelle Allen and husband Randy, both of Springdale, one sister; Pauline Pollock of Springdale, AR, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 30, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor C.H. Doss and Pastor Billy Burks officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to Abundant Life Pentecostal Church of God 2355 Oak View Drive Springdale, AR 72762.
