Joetta Marie Harriman's Obituary
Joetta Marie Harriman, age 103, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away Friday, July 19, 2024 in Fayetteville. She was born on January 20, 1921, in Japton, Arkansas to Joe and Ruthy (Neal) Harriman.
Joetta was a lifelong member of the Center Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Willie Dallas Harriman, Hazel Eunice Harriman, Gorden Oren Harriman, Lola Irene Harriman, Paul Wayne Harriman, Helen Allene Harriman and infant Harriman.
Joetta was a joy to everyone who knew her. She was kindhearted, funny, feisty, and frugal.
She loved all her family dearly and always had a piece of cake to share with visitors.
She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, and especially scrapbooking where she included newspaper articles about her family, her church family, and local personalities.
We rejoice with her as she has gone home to receive her reward.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Ledbetter Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
