John "Chuck" Colson's Obituary
John “Chuck” Colson, age 73, passed away, Saturday, March 12, 2022. Diagnosed with Creutzfeldt Jakob Disease in September, he resided at home until December and died at Village in Park assisted living in Rogers, AR. He was born May 29, 1948, in Tallahassee, Florida to the late William and Grace Colson. He is preceded in death by his brother, Mack Colson.
John loved people and his big personality helped him excel at selling. Throughout his career he sold pharmaceuticals, computers for IBM, computer software, consulting services and energy. He was quite handy and always had a project. He was happiest taking care of the family property, building or repairing things, and riding his ATV. He was a dog lover and cherished his cocker spaniels. John had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. His family, friends and acquaintances will miss his big smile and the twinkle in his eye.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda Colson, his children; Eryn Tyre, and Quinn Colson, step-children; Heidi Kosoglov, Katie Littlewood, and Melissa Campana, his brother; Ted Colson, 12 grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held in Perry Florida on May 21st at 10:00 AM.
