John Drauszewski's Obituary
John Drauszewski, age 88, of Farmington, died Sunday, June 28, 2015 in Fayetteville. He was born August 23, 1926 in Derby, Connecticut, the son of Joseph and Kathrine Drauszewski.
He was a retired helicopter mechanic and of the Catholic faith. He was a United States Navy veteran, serving on the USS Dayton in the Pacific.
He is survived by a daughter, Mary Jacobs and her husband James of Farmington; a son, Frank Drauszewski of Plum Island, Massachusetts; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Moore’s Chapel. Private burial will be at the Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
