John England's Obituary
John Edward England, 82, of Huntsville, passed away on October 16, 2011 in Springdale. He was born March 14, 1929 in Pekin, Illinois to Nobel and Lou Abbott England.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beatrice England and two brothers Bob and Thomas England; one sister, Helen Griffith and one infant granddaughter Sara England.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ahrents England of the home in Huntsville, a brother, Don England; a sister Frances Hester of Fayetteville; a son Johnny Lynn England and his wife Lenore of Fayetteville; a daughter, Lynda Hattabaugh of Prairie Grove; six step-children, Shane Ahrents and his wife Candy of Siloam Springs, Jubal Ahrents of Bethel Heights, Blaine Ahrents and his wife Michelle of Huntsville, Shawn Ahrents and his wife Lois of Bethel Heights, Rhonda Ceola and her husband Todd of Tontitown and Mary Dollinger of St. Louis, MO; three grandchildren, Crystal Johnson and her husband D. J. of Batesville, Jessie England of Fayetteville and J. W. Hattabaugh and his wife Ashley of Prairie Grove; two great-grandchildren Hattie Johnson of Batesville and Macy Hattabaugh of Prairie Grove; eleven step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was a U. S Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Purple Heart. John was a very active member and leader of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 4418 in Springdale, Arkansas for seven years. He was also a very active member of the American Legion Post 137 in Huntsville, Arkansas for five years. John had a passion for helping others in need. He loved spending time with his wife and many family members. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, country music and dancing.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday October 18, 2011 at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19 at Moore’s Chapel with interment in Bluff Cemetery in Springdale under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
Pallbearers will be Steve Skelton, Juan Hattabaugh Jr., Shane Ahrents, Jubal Ahrents, Blaine Ahrents and Shawn Ahrents.
