John Lloyd Gage's Obituary
John Lloyd Gage, age 79, of Fayetteville went to be with the Lord October 22, 2011. He was born December 21, 1931 in Springdale to Otto “Tobe” and Verna Sizemore Gage. He was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church in Fayetteville and served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. He worked with his father at Tri State Sales for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Helen (Gerry) Parker Gage; two sons, John Otto Gage of Fayetteville and Denton Ray Gage and his wife Melanie of Fayetteville, AR; one sister, Helen Sandor and her husband James of Lodi, CA; three grandchildren, Jessica Gage , Amanda Gage , Hannah Gage; four great grandchildren and three nieces.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Wednesday October 26, 2011 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Thursday at Ridgeview Baptist Church with Reverend Charlie Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
