Sorry to hear about Brother Herring. I learned of his passing from the Memphis Temple President. I lived on Dogwood across the street in Smackover. Alex and I used to play together. John was an active participant in the domino games at the Fayetteville Senior Center but beyond that, he was always a kind smiling person. He is missed but will stay in memories.
John was indeed a Gentle Gentleman. He had such love for everyone indeed for his family. I am sadden for those of us here without him. But overjoyed that he and Ms Jay and Brady are together again. He was a faithful member of his church and supported it all ways possible though out his life. He was without question one of the most loving father's i have ever known. He will Be missed
