John was our older brother. John's older sister Sharon Kay (Padgett) Little and younger brother Noble Wayne Padgett preceded him in death as well as his father Paul Blish Padgett and mother Mary Rosella (Richardson) Padgett. He left behind two younger sisters. Linda Marie (Padgett) Aragon and Joyce Ann (Padgett) Turner. John had a good heart when it came to helping others. He was quite a character. At times one never knew how to take him. He did many things during his journey in life. He loved to wheel and deal. For 34 years he and his wife faithfully had a spot at the Arkansas fairgrounds selling food and treasures from A to Z. They put in long hours loving every minute. Still have many friends that came every year. He went to Vegas and other casinos. Enjoying and usually won something. Went to auctions looking for unique treasures to resell. Knew several county singers went to a lot of performances enjoying them all. He had lots of unique yard art on his property surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees. Loved to weld and make things. He went to many states to buy treasures to resell in their pawn shop. John was a go getter. Unfortunately he had a stroke 10 years ago. It slowly declined year after year. He fought hard to keep on going but his heart stopped. God was at his bed side when he drew his last breath escorting him to Heaven. John is in a perfect place now no more pain or suffering. Almighty God blessed him with his amazing angelic wife and mother Kelly. They were just shy by a few days of being married 56 years. God gave them two beautiful daughters along with four precious grandchildren to carry on his legacy. My brother John will always hold a special place in my heart although we did not always agree on everything. We have precious memories to hold onto that we shared over the years. There will never be another John like John Riley. My dear brother is now resting in the arms of God. One day we will be United in Heaven. Love you brother always your sister Linda
