John R. Taylor's Obituary
John R. Taylor, age 78, of Elkins passed away Friday, July 24, 2020. He was born August 31, 1941 in Fayetteville the son of Harvey and Chloe (Mounce) Taylor.
He retired from Arkansas Western Gas after 38 years.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Mary Lee Taylor; two daughters Mary Hill and Martha Butler and her husband Curtis; two grandchildren Ashley Robbins and her husband Chance and Cody Butler and his wife Cheyenne; a brother Daymon Taylor and his wife Betty; two sisters Marvie Chandler and Marsha Payne and her husband Rick; five great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and his canine companion Chevy.
Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday July 27, 2020 at Moore’s Chapel. Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Brannon Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
