John Erwin Weaver's Obituary
John Erwin Weaver, age 74, of Goshen, AR, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. He was born on June 14, 1946, in Jackson, TN, to Lester and Hibernia Weaver. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lester Charles Weaver.
A graduate of Florida College, the University of South Florida, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, John was a philosopher by education; a public school teacher, business entrepreneur, and farmer by occupation; and he was Christian with a passion – a love for the truth and the examined life.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Cathy (Cope) Weaver of the home; his three children, John B. Weaver and wife Vivi of Temple Terrace, FL, Amy Calhoun and husband Don of Goshen, AR., and Mary Kennington and husband Michael of Coppell, TX.; eleven grandchildren; brother Caleb Weaver and wife Becky of Eureka Springs, AR.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
