John Benton Weaver's Obituary
John Benton Weaver, aged 60, of Fayetteville, AR, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026. He was born November 23, 1965, in Bossier City, LA.
John, or as his friends call him J.B., lived a full life. He was a bull riding cowboy, a Marine who served his country, a hardworking welder, even an original song writer, but the thing we believe he was the proudest of was being a family man. From visiting his parents every Sunday, to countless school events for his four sons, to the frequent calls just to check in a see how everyone was doing. He would always make the effort to be there and support, and we will always love and remember him for that.
He is survived by his parents, Kivel Lee Benton Weaver, Dixie Earl Dean Weaver; his sons, Zach Weaver, Blake Weaver, Mason Weaver and wife Kyra Weaver, John Weaver; his brothers, Kivel Earl Weaver and Dusty Weaver.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, at Nelson Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. The funeral service begins at 12:00 p.m. Monday at Nelson Berna. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Fayetteville National Cemetery.
