John Wesley Purtle's Obituary
John Wesley Purtle 66 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Monday, November 7, 2011 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born April 23, 1945 in Blytheville, AR to John W. Purtle and Villa (Chapman) Purtle.
He graduated from Helena-West Helena Public Schools and the University of Arkansas. He was a member of Ozark Flyers Club and the Elks Club. He was an avid hunter and a diehard Razorback Fan.
He was owner and manager of Crossover Liquor for 22 years.
He is survived by his wife Sherry Purtle, two daughters; Holly King and husband David of Bella Vista, AR, Lesley Bryant and husband, Ricky of Greenland, AR, and one grandson Brannon Bryant of Greenland, AR, Mother, Villa Purtle of Helena, AR; Sister, JoEllen Porter of Lynchburg, VA
The family will greet friends from 11AM till service time at 12:00PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held 12PM on November 10, 2011 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Douglas Falknor officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
