Joseph Alvin Snelson's Obituary
Joseph Alvin Snelson, 84, of Mountainburg, Arkansas, passes away, Sunday, October 1, 2006 at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born August 27, 1922 in Alexandria, North Carolina. The son of James Dallas and Minerva Cain Snelson. He enlisted in the United States Army on September 13, 1940 and was discharged on September 30, 1964, in which he survived during WWII and in Korea.
He is survived by his daughter; Barbara Woodall of Neosho, Missouri, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
There will be a private family graveside service.
