Joseph Robert (Bob) Anderson's Obituary
Joseph Robert (Bob) Anderson passed away November 21, 2020 in Rogers. He was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas at St. Vincent’s Infirmary, on July 30, 1937. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Hubert (Andy) Anderson and Ruth Anderson and his sister, Betty Miller.
Bob’s greatest joy was his friends and family. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was active in First United Methodist Church and the local women’s shelter. He worked for almost 30 years for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and spent most of that time as Resident Engineer of Beaver Lake. He also spent more than a decade working at Rogers Water Utilities.
Bob is survived by his daughters Kay Anderson and Lea (Earl) Erby, and son Mark (Karen) Anderson, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on November 28, 2020. Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church in Rogers.
