Joseph G. Fraley's Obituary
Joseph G. Fraley, age 83, of Fayetteville, died Monday, May 5, 2014 in Fayetteville. He was born March 29, 1931 in Hazel Valley, Arkansas, the son of Ray and Jenetta Jordan Fraley. He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
He was a retired firefighter for the City of Fayetteville attaining the rank of Captain. He was a member of Mount Comfort Church of Christ and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lora Dean Deaton Fraley; a daughter, Patricia Arnold of Conway, Arkansas; a son, Terry Fraley and his wife Kimberly of Niceville, Florida; four sisters, Ina Baker of Hindsville, Arkansas, Corene Wheeler of Rosehill, Kansas, Elta Richert of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Reva Thomas of Hazel Valley, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Crissa Mitchell, Erica Powell, Katherine Cox, Meghann Queen, Joseph Fraley and James Fraley and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday at Mount Comfort Church of Christ followed by burial at Combs Cemetery in Combs, Arkansas.
