I have been looking back through photos in the early 1990's and ran across numerous photos golfing with Pat at landmen golf tourneys in OK and Arkansas. Not sure how i lost touch with Pat but was sorry to see his obituary come up when I googled his name. Was hoping it was another Pat Gazzola. What a great guy he was. My sympathy to his family and friends.

so sorry to learn of Pat,s passing he was always so kind to us when we ate at Catfish hole BEST ever.. he made a lot of Christmas eves happy for my family..he let me get 5 lbs of shrimp for me to fix on Christmas eve,,,, sweet man ...rest in peace David & Maxine joseph
So glad to have been with Pat and family just hours prior to his death. We went to DuVall and Darby schools together in Ft. Smith and played baseball for many years in the Ft. Smith Boys club. He was a good friend.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Gazzola family for your loss. Having played for the hogs many years ago I know what being family and taking care of young boys who most have little or nothing and treating them like your own children. Janie and family, I was truly saddened by hearing of Pat's passing. My husband, Paul, and Pat were in law school together and nurtured that early friendship bond as Razorback loyals and Catfish Hole lovers. Pat was always more than gracious to accept our call to "hold a table for 12" and bring on the melted honey butter! Paul passed away nearly two years ago and please know, Janie, that if I can be of help in the days and months ahead, I would consider it an honor to encourage you.
