Joseph 'Joe' Rosen's Obituary
Joseph (Joe) Rosen, age 92, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday October 22, 2013. He was born September 7, 1921 in Waco, Texas to Louis and Bertha Stark Rosen. He was a World War II veteran serving two tours in the United States Marine Corp. He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Julia Ellis, Margaret Harlik, Sarah Brock; two brothers, Willie Rosen and Arthur Rosen.
He is survived by one daughter, Darla Rosen Inman and her husband Gino of Frisco, Texas; one son, Darrell Rosen and his wife Kelley of Fayetteville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Courtney Jones of McKinney, Texas; Holly Bourland and her husband Tony of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Amanda Rosen and Max Rosen both of Fayetteville, Arkansas and 3 great grandchildren, Christian and Isabella Jones of Mc Kinney, Texas and Penelope Bourland of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He lived with his son and family and was continually surrounded with the love and care of his daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren and an amazing caregiver named Belinda Ramsey. He loved family time, a good joke, making others smile, and big band music. We miss our beloved father and Peeps, but we find comfort knowing he lived a long earthly life and will spend eternity in Heaven.
Local arrangements were by Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
