Joseph Harrison Wood's Obituary
Joseph Harrison Wood, age 80, of Cave Springs, AR, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, April 5, 2021. He was born November 4, 1940, in Dayton, OH, a son of the late Medgitt Kuntz Wood and Garnett Arlene Bartram Wood. Also preceding him in death were his siblings, Medgitt Kuntz Wood, Jr., James Wood, Robert Wood, Janet Madison, and Michael Wood. Joe attended Zion Christian Union Church, was an avid golfer at the Paradise Valley Country Club, and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors are his wife, Eunice Denton Wood; his children, Theresa Lynn Wood, Joseph Harrison Wood, Jr., Ronald Scott Wood (Kay), Leslie Ann Palmer, Andrea Jean Berghold (Chris), James Brian Wood, and Mary Elizabeth Bowden (Dave); his siblings, Betty Carter, Donald Wood, and Paul Wood; thirteen grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, at Fenton Church of the Nazarene, 365 Saline Road, Fenton, MO, 63026. A local memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 3, at Zion Christian Church, 4984 West Weddington Drive, Fayetteville, AR, 72704. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Zion Christian Union Church, 6188 West Persimmon, Fayetteville, AR, 72704. Cremation arrangements are by Nelson Berna Funeral Home of Fayetteville, AR.
