Josh Neal's Obituary
Josh Neal age 27 of Little Rock died Friday November 12, 2010 in Little Rock. He was born January 3, 1983 in Springdale to Jeffery and Debbie Sommers Neal. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Springdale. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Mark Sommers and his paternal grandmother Alice Neal. Josh graduated from Spingdale High School in 2001 with a 4.0 GPA. He went on to the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where he earned a degree in Biology. After graduating, Josh worked at the Wal-Mart corporate office as a Project Manager. On June 8th, 2007 he married his beloved wife, Laura Goff. It was one of the happiest days of his life. Always the scholar, Josh decided to pursue a Doctorate of Pharmacy at UAMS in Little Rock; he was currently in his second year of Pharmacy School. Josh was a beautiful boy, loving husband, son, brother, grandson and a wonderful man. He touched many lives and will be missed by all of his friends and family. Josh loved all sports, especially The Razorbacks. He also enjoyed music, gardening and spending time with his family, friends and the pets he and Laura rescued.
He is survived by his wife Laura, parents Jeffery and Debbie Sommers Neal of Springdale, one sister Tara Sanders and her husband Jeremy of Lowell, Arkansas; Laura’s parents Tracy and Kelly Goff of Fayetteville, sister in law Emily Goff of Fayetteville, maternal grandmother Delores Sommers of Springdale, Arkansas; paternal grandfather Cale Neal of Worthing, South Dakota; nephew Cooper Thomas Sanders and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Wednesday November 17, 2010 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday November 18, 2010 at the Chapel at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas with burial at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Sanders, Mark Bailey, Nathan Wagner, Daniel Letze, Ryan Werner, Tyler Allison and Tracy Goff.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cooper Sanders, Ryan Palmer, John Oldenkamp and Jack White.
