Joy Arvilla Park Edwards' Obituary
Joy Arvilla Park Edwards, 65, of Kansas, Oklahoma, died Monday, April 19, 2004 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born July 19, 1938 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the daughter of George William and Annie Robertson Park. She was a retired self-employed accountant, homemaker, member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Kansas First Baptist Church in Kansas, Oklahoma.
She is survived by two daughters; Lynne Girdner of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Joyce Holman of Rogers, Arkansas, four sons; Michael Grosshans of Aurora, Colorado, Richard Edwards of Springdale, Arkansas, David Edwards of Springdale, Arkansas, Dale Pickett of England, Arkansas, one sister; Jo Ann Edwards of Kansas Oklahoma, one brother; Teddy Park of Newkirk, Oklahoma, fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many others who called her mom and grandma.
A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 23, 2004 at the Kansas First Baptist Church in Kansas, Oklahoma, with brother John officiating.
Arrangements are by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
