Joyce Marie Nielsen 78 of Fayetteville, Arkansas went to be with Jesus on Sunday September 26, 2021.
She was born in Fayetteville on February 11, 1943 to Hilbert and Cassie Higinbothom. She married the love of her life, Gary Nielsen. She was a loving mother to Charlotte, Pam, Melissa and Tricia. She was the best Mimi to Courtney, Dylan, Annie, Stephanie, Jacob, Joshua, Mallory and Connor and great-grandmother to Salem and Harvest.
Oh, how she loved to sew and make quilts. She also loved gardening and taking care of all who would let her. She loved to laugh and have fun with everyone around her. She was a collector of all kinds of treasures and loved to display them at home. Her biggest passion was loving her precious pets. It didn’t matter how many came to stay, she would take them all in and make sure they knew what love was.
Services will be held at Moore’s Chapel. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 on Thursday, September 30th. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 1st at 10:00 am at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Gayer, Joshua East, Connor Hanning, Jacob Linson and Joshua Holland
