J.T. Springer's Obituary
J. T. Springer, Sr., age 81, of Springdale, died Sunday, December 22, 2013 in Springdale. He was born February 6, 1932 in Clarksdale, Mississippi, the son of Walter Marvin and Maude Oswald Springer. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother. He was a member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He retired from farming in Coahoma County, Mississippi in 1972 and later moved to Eureka Springs, Arkansas where he was a motel owner.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Eva Springer; a daughter, Cynthia Ann Springer of Indiana; a son, John T. Springer, Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas. . A memorial service will be held at a later date.
