Juanita Steele's Obituary
Juanita Steele, 88, of Springdale, died May 4, 2015 in Fayetteville, AR. she was born to parents Robert Wesley Barnes and Bertha (Hannah) Barnes on January 25, 1927.
Mrs. Steele was a homemaker, avid gardener, and a member of Elmdale Baptist Church where she had served as a Sunday school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 69 years Bob Steele, one son, Robin Steele, one brother, and one sister.
She is survived by her son Tony Steele and wife Suzy of Bentonville, AR; daughter Glenda Carr and husband Don of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter Becky Garner and husband Harley of Bentonville, AR; daughter Teresa Neal and husband Paul of Springdale, AR; daughter-in-law, Jan Steele of Centerton, AR, one brother, Howard Barnes of Fayetteville, AR, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held Thursday. Burial will follow at Baptist Ford Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
