Judy K. Dunn's Obituary
Judy K. Dunn, 62 of Springdale, AR passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 in Fayetteville, AR. She was born November 15, 1949 in El Dorado, AR to Ned Carter and Nell Marks Carter.
Judy was a Christian of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted wife of 44 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who thrived on being involved in the lives of her family. She was retired from Washington Regional Medical Center legal department. During her career at Washington Regional she was fortunate to have close, faithful friends that she cherished. She had close friends in this area that had also moved here from El Dorado. She enjoyed opening her home in hospitality and loved to travel, especially to the beach. Judy was very generous and compassionate with a zest for life.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Dunn; her mother Nell Carter of Springdale, AR; one daughter, Michelle Crozier and husband Jeff of Springdale, AR; one son, Scott Dunn and wife Kristen of Fayetteville, AR; one brother, Randall Carter of Hot Springs Village, AR; one sister, Sherry Vicknair of Dallas, TX; and six grandchildren, Sophia Crozier, Mackenzie Crozier, Seth Crozier, Noah Crozier, Cassidy Dunn, and Solomon Dunn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Jewell officiating. Graveside committal services will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in El Dorado, AR.
Memorial contributions may be made to Washington Regional Hospice.
