June Holte Bryant's Obituary
June Holte Bryant, 77, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Born on November 14, 1946, in Fort Worth, Texas, June was a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother whose life touched many. June was preceded in death by her parents, Junius and Angeline Holte, and her brother-in-law, Norris Neumeyer. June is survived by her devoted husband, John Phillip Bryant; her beloved children, Jim and Nicole Short, Mark and Margaret Parlin, and Bo and Arin Bryant; and her seven grandsons, Jimmy Short, Jack and Megan Short, Bryant Parlin, Bryce Parlin, Cade Bryant, Cash Bryant, and Casen Bryant. She is also survived by her sister, Caroline Neumeyer, her brother, John and Susan Holte, as well as many extended family members.
June had a passion for her family, a love of art, decorating, traveling, and playing cards with her friends and family. She loved dancing with Phil to beach music and their song “Through the Years.” June spent every Sunday gathering with her relatives which she loved dearly. She was very proud of her Basque and Norwegian heritage and she enjoyed sharing stories, family artifacts, and heirlooms with others. In her younger years, she was fortunate to live overseas in Ankara, Turkey, and Taipei, Taiwan. She later lived in McLean, Virginia, Spartanburg, South Carolina, Anaheim, Yorba Linda, and Placentia, California. Phil and June enjoyed entertaining and having family over. She also loved planning trips and cruises and often asked her family to go on a road trip or take an adventure to see the world. She is now visiting all those places she dreamed of seeing.
June had a magic touch for making things beautiful. Her craft of sewing and quilting, and ability to grow and care for plants and her garden were unwavering. She would often say how lucky she was to have seven amazing grandsons and would attend as many of their games and activities that she was able to, with a smile and a Diet Coke in her hand. Her dedication and compassion for all those around her made a lasting impact on countless people. June's warmth, creativity, and unwavering commitment to her husband and family will be remembered fondly. Her legacy will live on through the lives she touched and inspired.
