June Eloise Leonard's Obituary
June Eloise Leonard, age 84, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
She was born on October 12, 1940, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the daughter of Edward M. and Geraldine Johnson. Eloise graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1958 and subsequently graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Nursing. She was associated with Parkhill Clinic in Fayetteville while also working with several physicians in Northwest Arkansas. She was a devoted and passionate nurse providing loving care for her patients and their families.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Lamberson of Springdale, and a brother, Dr. James D. Johnson of Fayetteville. Granddaughters; Carrie Smith of Springfield, Missouri and Katie Flannery of Prairie Grove. Grandson; Tyler Lamberson of Van Buren. Great-grandchildren; Kenley Lamberson and Kayden Park of Prairie Grove and Emma Morris of Springfield, Missouri.
She is preceded in death by, parents, Edward and Geraldine Johnson of Fayetteville, a brother, Dr. Edward L. Johnson of Greeley, Colorado and a son Michael Lamberson of Springdale.
Eloise was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Fayetteville.
A private funeral service will be held at Fairview Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest.
