Karen Sue McCaulley's Obituary
Karen Sue McCaulley, age 65, of Bentonville, passed away on July 11, 2024, in Rogers. She was born on September 7, 1958, in Jefferson, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Loretta Puckett McCaulley. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Mary Ebert and Nancy McCaulley, and her brother, Steve McCaulley.
Karen is survived by her sister, Mrs. Larry (Linda) Whitaker, as well as nieces Amy Whitaker, Mrs. Buck (Emily) Ortega, and Mrs. Jeff (Lisa) Barczewski, and one nephew, Jody Ebert. Karen dearly loved each of her Grand Nieces and Nephews as well. They include Mrs. Sterling (Addison) Williams, Elaina and Anna Barczewski, Mason, Christian, and Julianne Merryman, as well as Leighton, Bear, Vivianne, Remington, Posey, and Bo Ortega.
At the time of her death, Karen worked as a Claims Specialist III for UBER (formerly known as Trans West). During and right after her college years, Karen was heavily involved with theatre, both acting and directing. She had a deep affection for her cats, and had extensive collection of giraffes.
Karen's kindness and warmth will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and colleagues. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and loved her.
A graveside service to honor Karen's life will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Bentonville Cemetery, under the compassionate care of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, Rogers.
