Karl Wayne Gilbert's Obituary
Karl Wayne Gilbert, age 65, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022, in Fayetteville. He was born April 13, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas to James and Carolyn (Cooper) Gilbert. He is preceded in death by his father James Gilbert and his brother Charles, his loving wife Barbara Gail Gilbert.
Karl bravely served our country in the Navy and fought in the Vietnam War. He was a licensed electrician and served many families over the years. He loved motorcycles, classic cars, and guns and knives .
Karl is survived by his mother Carolyn Gilbert, his brother David Gilbert, and his sister Bridgett Mikel .A graveside service will be held, Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 2:30 PM at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted under the direction of Moore’s Funeral Chapel.
