Kathleen Ewing's Obituary
Kathleen Ewing, 62 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011. She was born May 12, 1949 in Tulsa, OK to James G. Ewing and Elizabeth Ann (Pratt) Ewing.
After a successful 32 year career with Delta Airlines, she relocated to Fayetteville in the fall of 2001. Kathy was active in Fayetteville’s Newcomers making many wonderful friends. She loved reading, golf, and playing cards. She would have played bridge everyday if she could find a game. Kathy was a member of the local MENSA chapter and a lover of all puzzles. She had read every word of the Sunday New York Times for years and completed the crossword in ink. In Fayetteville she found her passion for Art. She became an accomplished potter, painter, and mosaic artist. She taught a highly rated bead jewelry class for the Osher Institute.
She was preceded in death by the true love of her life, husband Bill Sullivan of Peachtree City, GA.
Kathy will be greatly missed by her beloved cats, sister; Nancy Ewing of Fayetteville, AR, sister and brother–in-law Carol and Dennis Burk, niece Amy Gonzalez and her husband Oscar and great niece Emily all of Washington State, and many local friends.
A Celebration of Kathleen’s Life will be announced at a later date.
