I will never forget Kathy Riggle's positive attitude and her willingness to lend a helping hand when needed. I was a brand new undergraduate student at the University of Arkansas and was approved for a work study position within the main library. I had just graduated from high school a few months prior, so I was essentially starting from the ground up. My job assignment was in the sorting/stacking department of the library, and it was there that I got to meet Kathy as one of my supervisors. Kathy was extremely patient with me and answered any questions that I had. Her smiles and laughter were constant, and she was just a great person to talk to. Because of Kathy, I enjoyed working at the library and stayed there until I graduated from the University four years later. I consider myself to be extremely fortunate to have crossed paths with Kathy in this life, and I am forever grateful that Kathy gave me a chance early on during my formative years which helped shape me to become the person that I am today. Rest in peace Kathy, you will always be in our thoughts and memories.
