Kenan Alijuan Scales 's Obituary
Kenan Alijuan (Kay Kay) Scales, age 23, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday May 6, 2020 in Fayetteville. He was born December 27, 1996 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Sheila Scales and Corey Prunty. Kay Kay was a 2014 graduate of Fayetteville High School. In high school, he made many friends that he still kept in contact with over the years. Many of these friends would describe him as loyal, laid back and the class clown. To know Kay Kay was joy and he will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He was the type of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, brother, uncle or friend. Kay Kay was a genuine, kindhearted individual that loved to be around people. He cherished his family and enjoyed spending time with his young nephews that he loved like his own.
Throughout his life, Kay Kay was an avid sports fan and took up a love of the game of basketball at an early age. He was very talented at football and was well know for his abilities on the field in his younger years. Kay Kay was also a lifelong, die hard Dallas Cowboys fan.
Kenan leaves to celebrate his memory, his mother, Sheila Scales; two sisters, Deneshia Taylor and her husband Andre and Kandice Scales; four nephews, Ke-Antre Taylor, Alijah Taylor, Legend Scales and Khylan Scales and a host of close relatives and friends.
There will be a private graveside service at Oak Cemetery in Fayetteville under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
