Kenneth Don Barnhart's Obituary
Kenneth Don Barnhart, age 81, of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away on December 2, 2024, at his home. He was born on July 16, 1943, in Wewoka, Oklahoma, to Toby Lewis Barnhart and Cleta May (Stone) Barnhart. Kenneth graduated and attended college for a short time, before going to work doing automobile body and paint repair. He married Mary Ellen Greenlee on September 19, 1987, in Farmington. Kenneth loved fishing, garden and playing music. He thought of himself as a cowboy and loved to watch Westerns, especially with John Wayne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Toby and Cleta Barnhart; wife, Mary Barnhart, and brother, Leon Barnhart.
Kenneth is survived by his children: Dana Turner and husband Mark of Madison County, Arkansas, Sereda Griggs of Seminole, Oklahoma, Kim Yerby and husband Thomas of Seminole, Tony Richardson of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Patty Hudson and husband John of Farmington, Melvin Gates of Kentucky, Bobby Gates of Farmington, Lonnie Gates and wife Tammy of Farmington, and Roger Gates of Morrow, Arkansas; sisters, Linda Gean of Wewoka and Treva Anderson of Seminole; grandchildren, Kimberly, Meranda, Josh, Tye, Daryek, Aly, Rylan, Wylee, Carlie, Stephanie, Eddie, Ashley, Landon, and Kyle; and great grandchildren, Shyla, Makaila, Jax, Emma, Myles, Mia, Jack, Beau, Eden, and Harper Riley.
