Kay, I received word of Ken's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a good and tough man. I tell the story of meeting the two of you on Holly Street, many times. Ken gave me my first job in Fayetteville.I think I was his first, Green Country employee. I had zero money. If you recall, I had to ask to be paid, in cash, at the end of the day, because I had nothing else. Ken didn't just give me a job, however. He gave me my first career. Landscape gardening. In part, my work on the Fayetteville Square Gardens is a testament to the path Ken started in my life. The reality is, Ken gave me an opportunity to grow up. That is something you just don't forget. I hope this finds you and family, at peace. He was, one of the hardest working humans, I've ever known. Many condolences.
