I am so very sorry for loss. I met Kenneth nine years ago when I started Calvery Church. He greeted me at the door and welcomed me and hugged my neck. He was the most pleasant and Happy Spirit. Patty, Kristi, Brian and family, I am sorry to hear of Kenneth's passing. 9 years ago when I walked into Calvary Church, Kenneth was the first person my kids and I met. A handshake for me and a hug for the kids, from then on it was every Sunday morning when we walked in. There will be a great void at Calvary, he will missed by all who knew him. He always made us feel as though we were part of the family. I knew that if I needed something he would be there. We love you all and are praying for your family. All of our love.
My daughter and I will so miss that quirky grin he would give us when we came to sit right behind him in church. He always welcomed us with open arms, a hug and a hand shake. He was sure we were always paying attention because out of know where while we were being taught our lesson of the day he would turn around and say "very loud"..."Now did you get that" We would just smile and laugh with him! I will continue to sit in the same place knowing he will be there with us all! May God Bless his family and give them strength and know one day they will truly be together again.
I will miss Kenneth's handshake each Sunday morning. He would put a smile on your face. Prayers to the family. He is missed.
Kenneth is a man I am proud to call a friend. He had a way of bringing a smile to my face when I didn't feel like smiling. May God bless his family in their time of grief.
I have known Kenneth since our childhood days in school. Bought a house from Ralph many years ago on 40th Street and were neighbors with him parents on Turner St. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Freeman family. I am sure he will be greatly missed by so many people. Kenneth had a heart of Gold! Loved his whole family. I pray that God will be with each of you thru this very difficult time.
