Kenneth Wayne Pendleton's Obituary
Kenneth Wayne Pendleton, age 69, of Fayetteville, went to his heavenly home on May 7, 2020 in Springdale at Edgewood Health & Rehabilitation after a valiant battle with a long illness. He was born November 20, 1950 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Robert Kenneth Pendleton and Juanita Lorene Hill Pendleton Powell. He is preceded in death by his parents. He graduated from County Line High School. He then began working for OG&E, then pursued his Master of Electrician license. He worked for Wal-Mart Stores traveling all around to multiple states to do electrical remodels during the mid 80’s to early 90’s before he started up his own business full-time. For over 35 years he served the Northwest Arkansas area as an Electrical Contractor, owning and operating Ken Pendleton Electric, Inc. He also proudly served our country in the Arkansas Army National Guard, 142nd Field Artillery in Ozark, separating as an E-6 after 22 years of service. Ken will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted father and the best “POPS” to his five grandchildren. He loved his girls and grandchildren more than life itself. He is survived by his two daughters Betsy (Greg) Martin of Fayetteville, Lucy (Lance) Claypool of Springdale, five grandchildren, Landon, Anna Claire and Manning Martin of Fayetteville and Crawford and Coleman Claypool of Springdale. His brother Rick Pendleton of Ratcliff, Arkansas, Half siblings, Alan Powell of Ratcliff, Arkansas, Tammy Powell of Ratcliff, Arkansas and Kim (Bob) Vela of San Antonio, Texas.
