Jay, Jake and Jessica I know there is nothing I say here that is going to be anything you don't already know an since I'm not much on words I only hope I can do Kerri's life justice. The first time I met Kerri I was applying for a spot on her crew at McDonalds on North College. The interview went well and at the ended, I asked when do I start? (knowing that my father had already spoken w Ray) She stood up and politely said Ray had never told her to hire or do anything so she'd think on it. I left trying to figure out where else to apply. The next day I got a call to come in and start what would turn into a pretty long, fun time with McDs although I did spend the next two weeks scrubbing baseboards lol. Eventually I guess she realized I would pull my own weight or felt sorry for me but our life long friendship had begun. She was one of the most amazing women I've ever meet. She'd enter a room and heads would turn. She was spunky, classy, yet down to earth person. She was one of kind with an unbelievable soul that lived life to the fullest. A year ago I was mad as hell that she was going to be gone at such young age. Seeing her take on this battle head on with full speed ahead as she did everything in life. I too came to peace with what was happening just as she had. The madness then turned to feeling of being blessed, blessed to have know her for 30+ years. Blessed to call her a dear friend. Blessed that she and Christi were so close. Blessed that Jay and I have become friends. Blessed to see the love she had for Jake, Jessica and even Jay. Know that she loved you and you became her life. She was so proud of you and all that you do. We owe it to her to continue on as she would...... living life to the fullest and enjoying every second of it with no regrets. Kerri was a remarkable person one I'm proud to have known, loved and called a friend. RIP sweet Ms Kerri
