Kyla Carol Arnold's Obituary
Kyla Carol Arnold, age 78, of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away on February 18, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on July 10, 1945, in Enid, Oklahoma, to the late Kenneth and Marjorie (Trueblood) May.
Kyla was a woman of remarkable strength and compassion, with a heart that overflowed with love for her family. Her resilient and caring spirit touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Kyla found immense joy in the presence of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them.
Kyla went to high school at Caldwell High School in Caldwell, KS Class of 1963. She later pursued a college education at Wichita Business College in Wichita, KS after high school and then furthered her education at Cowley County Community College with a degree in computers. While raising her 3 children she was an AVON lady for many years receiving multiple awards for her hard work. Before her retirement in 2009, Kyla dedicated 18 years of her life to Kraft, where she made lasting connections and contributed to the success of the company. She was known for her hard work, dedication, and the positive impact she had on those around her.
In 1995, Kyla embarked on a beautiful journey of companionship with Larry Arnold, her devoted husband of 28 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures. Larry, along with Kyla's children Ty Peterson and wife Amber, Trisha Ohnemiller and husband Rick, and Dadra Mitchell and partner Mike Greene, mourn the loss of a beloved wife and mother.
Kyla is also survived by her siblings, Beverly Fritzler and Bob May and his wife Brenda, and leaves behind a legacy of love that extends to her grandchildren: Tanner Peterson and partner Becca Williams, Austin Peterson, Kyle Peterson, Natalie Ohnemiller Moon, Jaden Ohnemiller and partner Cameron Krager, Tessa Ohnemiller and partner Daniel Owens, Harlee Martin, Carrigan Martin and partner Ethan Carlson, and Cheyene Deleon and husband Christopher. Her great-grandchildren, Lucas and Logan Moon, Lincoln Fritchey, Castiel, Elias, and Eloise Deleon, and Wrenly Peterson, were a source of immense joy and pride.
A devoted friend and family member, Kyla leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who will cherish the memories they shared with her.
Services to honor and celebrate Kyla's life will be held at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home of Rogers. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 23, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with a burial to immediately follow at Benton County Memorial Park.
