L.W. Mitchell's Obituary
L.W. Mitchell, Jr., age 79, of Lowell passed away Friday August 13, 2021, in Springdale. He was born January 6, 1942, in Fort Smith, Arkansas the son of L.W. and Ruby Tendell Mitchell, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He graduated from Northside High School and attend West Ark Community College. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lowell.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine Mitchell; his son Greg Mitchell and his wife Debby; a daughter Sheila Turner and her husband Shawn; two granddaughters Adeline Mitchell and Aisling Turner; the mother of his children Wanda Hunnicutt; and four brothers Johnny Barton; Dennis, Larry and Michael Mitchell.
A Graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday August 18, 2021, at the Fayetteville National Cemetery with Military Honors; under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Rogers.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to NWA Circle of Life Hospice or Mercy Kids Rogers.
