Laban Douglas Needham Jr.'s Obituary
Laban Douglas Needham Jr., age 88, passed away November 18, 2023, in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born December 5, 1934, in Deer Lodge, Tennessee to Laban and Myrtle (Spurling) Needham Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son Bryan Needham.
Laban married Janice Fox on October 25, 1958, in Aurora, Illinois.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Janice Needham, his children; Karen Vaughn and husband Richard of Bentonville, Douglas Needham III and wife Gina of Springdale, Michael Needham of North Little Rock, and Scott Needham and wife Priscilla of Tallahassee, Florida, his grandchildren; Megan Shannon and husband Jeff, Morgan Cloer and husband Joey, Miranda Cirocco and husband Peter, MacKenzie Yost and husband Brendan, Chris Needham and wife Jamie, Stephen Needham and wife Erin, Jeff Needham, Greg Needham, Jackson Needham, Davis Needham, and Ella Grace Needham, his 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Lowell. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Laban will be laid to rest at Fayetteville National Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
