Lanette Taylor's Obituary
Lanette Taylor, age 82, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025. She was born on November 9, 1942, in Caldwell, Idaho, to the late Holly and Vera Friend.
Lanette led a rich and full life centered on family and creativity. She was of the Protestant faith. She had a deep passion for collecting—particularly rocks and minerals—which reflected her appreciation for the beauty and intricacies of the natural world. She also enjoyed fishing, arts and crafts, and was a prolific reader.
Lanette was preceded in death by her son, Donald Tillman, and her brother, Boyd Friend.
She is survived by her son Wendell Tillman and his wife Debra of Pea Ridge, Arkansas. Lanette was a loving grandmother to Rachel, Rebecca, and Jesse.
Lanette is also survived by her siblings: Glenda Hodson, Rodney Friend, Jerry Friend, Trella Scates, Duard Friend, and Arliss Wells. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she cherished her role as sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for her warmth, generosity, and enduring curiosity.
