Lanny G. Heater, age 83, of Winslow, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born January 6, 1941, in Fairfield, Iowa to Lincoln Gayle Heater and Mildred Fern Crafton. He was preceded in Read Obituary

Lanny and I were state presidents and it was the only time that the outstanding president award was given to us as a tie since President Jimmy Hall could not separate us for our outstanding work. I enjoyed working with Lanny and he will be missed.
My sincere condolences to Karen and her family. I knew Lanny for a good many years and remember when he was in the service and when he married Karen.
Quiet and kind, always a listening ear and caring heart, Lanny was the best in high school and 65 years later. Looking forward to seeing one of my favorite classmates in heaven one day. Thank you, Lanny, for who you always were. M
Lanny was our dear friend and neighbor back in the early 70's. He got me involved with the Davenport Jaycees and we played softball and basketball across the State of Iowa.
We kept in touch over the years we moved around our fine country. We were God parents to his two kids and visited over the years. He will be missed.
