Larry Don Elkins, age 68, of West Fork, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 9th, 2025.

Larry was an avid bowler and horseshoe pitcher. He would plant a garden every spring to provide vegetables to family, neighbors, and friends. He enjoyed visiting with the gentlemen at the West Fork Café mornings and afternoons, getting the latest news of the day. He would stop to check on friends and family from time to time. Each month he would make the run to the Food Bank to pick up the order for the church’s monthly food pantry and would deliver bags, if necessary.
The Elkins family would like to thank the First Responders, doctors, nurses, and staff at Washington Regional Medical Center who diligently worked to provide the necessary medical treatment and support.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 13th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral will be Friday, February 14th, at 2:00 PM at Moore’s Chapel, with burial to follow at Baptist Ford Cemetery.
